jabber server status and notes

I've been noticing lots of hits due to sites linking to me for the jabber server I run, so I thought I'd give a slight update on that 
There's a jabber server running on jabber.wiretrip.org, officially supporting MSN, AIM/ICQ, Yahoo! and groupchat(s) - over SSL as well as unencrypted. The Yahoo! transport is currently (unfortunately) not functional, as Yahoo! is being a pain. I'll work on that as well
There is no dedicated jabber page as of yet. I'm working on some web frontend stuff, so people can edit their contact lists, view undelivered messages and such. If someone has some clean working perl code to calculate wpjabber hashed directory names from the jabber user ID, let me know I also wouldn't mind if someone feels inclined to make some clean CSS-based design for the website.
For now, things will stay this way; as soon as the code is done it will go online, and I'll distribute it under the Artistic license.

I will look into this tonight. I'm not too sure why this is happening, as these issues are not what I'm seeing.
It looks like the MSN transport is hanging on single connections every once in a while.
Possibly something to do with the connection(s) within the jabber server itself (c2s->session/xdb/auth->transport dispatcher->msn transport or such).
Thanks for bearing with me, I'll try to get a solution to this ASAP.

The MSN transport process was hanging, but functioning. It seems there was a problem with communication with the main processes, thus keeping people online (but the jabber C2S module not being able to reach the MSN transport).
Funny stuff. The monitoring system didn't catch it, as i'm not doing end to end tests (yet). Another thing on my list...
